Selina Helliwell

Hi! I'm Selina. On the surface I'm just a girl who likes pretending to be other people, writing worlds of my own imagining and taking my clothes off. But really I'm someone with a huge passion for the arts and I'm determined to pave my own way and make my own work in a world that really doesn't value art anywhere nearly as much as it should. All of my works of fiction contain themes of mental health and societal issues, with heaps of dark humour too. And my cabaret night 'Ember & the Vixens' is female-empowering and feminist focused, in an entertaining whirl of burlesque, music, circus and spoken word poetry.
